Judicial Sentencing Transparency Act
Requires courts to publish sentencing data by judge, offense, and outcome in a public database.
State

Plain-language explainer
The public can't hold a judge accountable for a pattern of leniency it can't see. This makes sentencing data public and searchable.
Model bill language
Section 1. The state court administrator shall publish, no less than quarterly, sentencing outcomes by presiding judge, offense classification, and disposition in a machine-readable public format.
