Donations submitted through this site are processed entirely by Givebutter, a third-party donation platform embedded on the Donate page. Payment card details are transmitted directly to Givebutter and its payment processors; the Organization's servers do not receive or store them. Upon completion of a donation, Givebutter provides the Organization with the donor's name, email address, donation amount, and campaign, which is retained for tax-receipt and donor-recordkeeping purposes required of a 501(c)(3) organization. Givebutter's handling of payment information is governed by Givebutter's own privacy policy, not this one.
A newsletter subscriber may unsubscribe at any time using the link included in each email. A visitor may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information previously submitted, by contacting the Organization through its Contact Us page. Such requests will be honored within a reasonable time where they can be verified, subject to the Organization's legal and recordkeeping obligations. For example, a donation record required to be retained for tax purposes will not be deleted upon request.
