Every criterion we track is sourced from the actual statute or bill text, not a summary or a press release, and verified state by state before it's published. That's slow, deliberate work by design: a wrong "enacted" status is worse than no status at all. Rather than publish shallow, unverified guesses for all fifty states plus DC at once, we're building out full coverage one state at a time, starting with the three below, and expanding from there.
The full state directory lists every tracked criterion against every state, plus DC, live as each one is verified and published, not just the three states with their own deep page.
Open the state directory →State-by-state verification is research work, not a switch we can flip -- pulling statute text, cross-checking amendments, and confirming enactment dates for every criterion, in every state. Donations fund that research directly and determine how quickly the map fills in.
