Midterm season is over, and the results are clear: progressives are tightening their grip on America’s urban jurisdictions, and they now have time to govern in states that have traditionally been conservative. The soft-on-crime policies that have failed in cities like San Francisco, Seattle, and New York are poised to spread. The next few years are critical for the anti-crime movement.

New prosecutors, judges, and lawmakers will soon take office promising a “new approach” to public safety. Here at the Preventable Crime Project, we will be watching what they actually do. We are the only conservative organization dedicated to tracking the spread of leniency in America’s courts, exposing the officials behind it, and shifting public opinion back toward law and order.

We’re particularly excited about what’s next for our Judicial Performance Database. Big things are coming soon. Stay tuned.
